If you want to really hear drums as part of The Experience - This might be the longest segment I have found. This Spring 1978 tour has the Best Drums each night as the Boys trot out their new toys. In Fact, this show is largely Just-Par, but this drums is top 10 and VVVVVery out there - like your very own pagan drum circle... Listen in after about 7 minutes and you will not want to return to your normal viewing stations...

Thanks Captain! I find I enjoy many drums segments from 78-85, if you're listening on a good sound system. It's a combination of the two-drummer machine, and the fact that the soundboard quality often improved markedly (at least for drum segments - i.e. trebly/crispy) in this period. This is a great example of just how satisfying Drums can be.
